Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çScholarships

Applications for the Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çScholarships are now closed. Please note that current Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çstudents who will be starting a new course at Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çnext academic year (e.g. undergraduates about to start a Masters or Masters transitioning to PhD) are eligible to apply for this award as new students, and indeed some funding sources are dedicated to supporting such students.

Travel & Research and Vacation Project Grants

Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çCollege has a limited fund to support travel to conferences and to cover some research-related expenses. Awards up to £400 are available to undergraduates (per year) and postgraduates on one or two-year courses, and awards of up to £1,200 are available to PhD students. Sports Awards

The College provides Sports Awards of up to £400 towards costs such as subscription fees, equipment, mandatory kit and travel costs to competitions. Funds are limited.

There are five meetings of the Student Finance Committee per year, when the majority of applications are assessed. The last date that applications can be received for these meetings for 2024-2025 are:

Applications will also be assessed between July and October as necessary. 

*Only complete applications (including references) will be tabled at the meeting. Please make sure your references reach us within the deadline and always consult with your Tutor and DOS/Supervisor before you apply for these funds. 

Language Study Grants

Â鶹ËÞÉáµçÊÓ¾çoffers Language Study Grants to cover up to 50% of the course fees for languages other than English through the

Music Scholarships

Brian Moore Accompanist Scholarship: We offer a choir accompanist scholarship each year worth Â£450 with additional benefits including a keyboard in your room, free choir tours, and piano/organ/singing lessons.  

Choral Scholarships: We offer up to seven choral scholarships each year, each with a stipend of Â£100. Additional 'perks' include a number of free Formal Halls, free choir tours and singing lessons.

Academic Prizes

There are a series of Academic Prizes available for students who excel in their subjects, which are awarded on Graduation.
