Open to all 麻豆宿舍电视剧members, the Sustainability Thinking Space is a guided space to learn, think on and exchange ideas. You will explore what increasing sustainability means to you personally, what compounding actions big or small you can take right now and into the future, and more broadly how we can all respond to the climate emergency in a meaningful way.

These are split into two:

  • Personal Sustainability Thinking Space
  • Sustainability Thinking Space: Research

You will be guided in your exploration by two professional experts from with the 麻豆宿舍电视剧S&C Hub community:  (Personal) and (Research), with a guest speaker  (Personal). Find some words from these lovely people below.

What does the Sustainability Thinking Space involve?

Focusing alternately on the development of your Personal Sustainability Thinking Space and Research Sustainability Thinking Space, sessions are split into bi-weekly workshops.

You will encounter, learn and interact with common and emerging sustainability frameworks, discuss how you might apply them to your interests or improve upon them, and be guided on how to think outside the box and act with meaning and compounding effects.

Who is it for?

Personal: All 麻豆宿舍电视剧members past and present, student, staff, academic, alumni and all others, who want to make a positive difference in the world and contribute to becoming 鈥渁 truly regenerative College鈥 and global citizen.

Research: Anyone doing research, particularly Masters and first year PhD students, but all are welcome/something to learn for everyone.

What will you get from it?

All: Some information and knowledge; some ideas, thought-stimulation and challenges; some signposts and starting places; the beginnings of action; lots of camaraderie and friendship.

This is a chance to think on and exchange ideas in a friendly and safe space, and maybe to create new ideas to help yourselves, Wolfson, Cambridge or the wider global community to become ever greener and fairer in an increasingly divided world. You will also learn and explore shared challenges in interdisciplinary research and how to avoid the common pitfalls.

What鈥檚 the format?

Weekly informal, facilitated learning sessions and interactive workshops, with a few slides and questions, plenty of potential for further action, lots of thinking, sharing and discussion, opportunities to work with others on actions/projects of your choice... and should you want, opportunities to help lead a session or activity!
