It can be hard to focus on writing and resist digital distractions. These sessions rely on working in a room with others to help keep you on track. Sessions run weekly in term on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons; use them to kick start the week or and finish things off before the weekend.

We will start by sharing what we want to achieve in the morning. We then work for an hour in silence, take a 10 minute break for tea/coffee and biscuits and to see how it is going for everyone. Then we do it again, have another break, and finish by writing for further hour. So you get three hours of work done, with structured breaks and the chance to share your progress.

You are welcome to stay for only part of the session but please only leave or join during the breaks.

Programme:

  • 9:45 Arrive, set up and sharing
  • 9:55 Write
  • 10:55 Break
  • 11:05 Write
  • 12:05 Break
  • 12:15 Write
  • 13:15 Finish
